Iron County Forestry and Parks (County) is requesting Bids from Contractors to provide debris removal services for the Saxon Harbor Reconstruction project. Bids must be submitted by 3:00 P.M., local time, on October 17, 2016 to Mr. Eric Peterson, Iron County Forest Administrator, 607 3rd Ave N., Suite 2, Hurley, WI 54534. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on-site at Saxon Harbor on Tuesday October 11th at 1:30 PM.
Prevailing wage rates will not be required for this project. Liquidated Damages will be assessed in the amount of $2,000 / day if the Scope of Work is not completed by the stated Completion Date (11/18/16).
