REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
IRON COUNTY FORESTRY COMMITTEE
SAXON HARBOR PROJECT

The Iron County Forestry Committee is requesting Statements of Qualifications from engineering firms to provide engineering services for the Saxon Harbor Reconstruction project.  This request provides detailed information on the project scope, types of services required, and what is required for submittal.


 Three (3) copies of the Statement of Qualification must be submitted by 12:00 PM, local time, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 to Eric Peterson, Iron County Forest Administrator, 607 3rd Ave N, Suite 2, Hurley, WI  54534.  Submittals received after this deadline will not be considered.


 The Scope of Services and Submittal Requirements may be picked up at the Iron County Forestry Department, 607 3rd Ave N, Suite 2, Hurley, WI  54534, on the website at www.ironcountyforest.org or can be mailed or emailed to you upon request by contacting Eric Peterson at (715)561-2697 ext 1 or icfadmin@ironcountyforest.org .


Iron County reserves the right to reject any or all submittals received, or to accept the submittal that it considers to be in the best interest of Iron County.

Iron County is located in far northern Wisconsin bordering Lake Superior, Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Ashland, Vilas and Price Counties.  The third largest County Forest in the State of Wisconsin, Iron County offers plenty of recreational opportunities from hunting and fishing, to ATVing and snowmobiling, to camping, hiking and cross country skiing.  The Iron County Forestry Department is responsible for managing 174,317 acres of County Forest.
