Schomberg Park is located at 9701N Hwy 51, Hurley, WI - half way between Hurley and Mercer on Hwy 51.
Schomberg Park & Campground was constructed in 2009 and opened for the first season in 2010. The park has 14 campsites, 10 sites with electrical service and 4 walk-in tent sites. Other camping ammenities include a bathroom/shower facility, pavilion and dumpstation. ATV trail access.
Reservations are accepted by calling the Iron County Forestry Department at (715)561-2697 or the campground host at (715)561-2064.

WASHSTATION - To serve our ATV enthusiates, Schomberg Park also has one of Wisconsin's first ATV washstations. ATVers are encouraged to wash their machines before & after riding Iron County trails to help prevent the spread of invasive species into and out of the County. The ATV washstation is coin operated.
TRAILHEAD - The trailhead at Schomberg is a great feature for day riders and overnighters alike. Centered in the middle of Iron County's ATV trail system the trailhead features a parking area for large trailers and overflow parking for the campground. A loading ramp is available. The trail which leads to/from the campground and out to the rest of the trail system goes through the parking area. A $2 use fee is charged for parking.
Schomberg Park is now CLOSED for the season.

HIKING & SNOWSHOE TRAILS - For the non-motorized enthusiast a marked hiking and snowshoe trail loops through 160 acres making up the remaining property of Schomberg Park. You will enjoy beautiful views of Layman's Creek, old growth hemlock, wildlife, plants and their habitats.
