NEW IRON COUNTY CAMPGROUND FIREWOOD RULE:
Any firewood brought into an Iron County Campground must come from within 25 miles of the campground or a WI certified firewood dealer.
ATV/UTV Trails are CLOSED.

SAXON HARBOR MARINA is partially OPEN for the season. Launches, restrooms and fish cleaning station are open.
Lake of the Falls opens April 30.

Iron County is located in far northern Wisconsin bordering Lake Superior, Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Ashland, Vilas and Price Counties. The fourth largest County Forest in the State of Wisconsin, Iron County offers plenty of recreational opportunities from hunting and fishing, to ATVing and snowmobiling, to camping, hiking and cross country skiing. The Iron County Forestry Department is responsible for managing 175,305 acres of County Forest.
